Spilling my Guts

I used the mounting bracket from the stock radio — slipped it on over the new surround and affixed it to the aftermarket radio with a metal strap or some screws or something. Unfortunately the new surround was a little too tall with the mounting bracket and it pushed the climate controls down a bit. The climate control panel bolt holes no longer lined up with the mounting holes. So the panel holes had to be drilled a bit wider. The pen holder covers up the bottom of the now-slightly-lower climate control panel.
